I don't believe anyone is in need of staples in San Pedro. They have them at the Island Supermarket last time I checked. Behind the right cash register (just in case).

We've only been back for 2 days and I'm jealous (but happy) for all you getting so close to your vacation time. I've always dreamed of moving to Maui...but now I think my husband and I are a leaning towards San Pedro...I fell in love with it. Mosiqitos and all [Linked Image]

It will be so nice to have some people to visit with while on vacation. I will definately look you all up. Sounds like there is no horseback riding on the island, so I'll have to get my fill on the mainland. If anyone has any "don't miss" dives, let me know. I've done some research but first hand is always best. Everyone have a great evening.

Is there anyone that is going that doesn't dive. I want to try and snorkel but I am not sure I am going to like it. What else is there to do?

Booblers, yes you want to snorkel, it is so beautiful with the colorful fish and coral.
Try snorkeling under the piers first, at your pace, then hire a guide. The Guides will stay with you and help. Under Ramon's
pier is an artifical reef, and alot of fish.
I am not a strong swimmer, but I would not miss snorkeling.

Bobb-ler,
When you get done with that water thing let me know. I haven't been in the water in five years in AC. Unless you count that up to the knees thing off Caribbean Villa's dock a couple weeks ago (Sorry Mr. Lala, just couldn't help myself) Seriously, the water is wonderful if thats what you want to do. I'm perfectly happy roaming my "rock', generating mischief and mayhem whilst SWMBO does that "breathing bubbles" thing with our friends. This is truly a match heaven made!

Hey Booblers,
My wife and I will be there Nov 11 - 24 and she doesn't dive - but wants to try snorkling. We should definitely hook up. I will need a dive buddy too.

Oh, I am jealous, you'll all be there for my birthday, I wanted to be, but oh, well another couple months. You should definately try snorkeling, it is unbelizeably beautiful underwater!! If you're not comfortable in the water, ask for a lifejacket and just float around. I like to just wear the mask and swim around. I have to admit though, on my last trip I never made it into the water, mischief making takes up a lot of time. [Linked Image]

I don't dive, but I am definitely into snorkeling and plan on a couple snorkel trips (which include rum punch). Otherwise, eat, drink, relax and explore, meet people, shop for souveniers. I like to check out the different resorts, too. Also taking Lamanai tour.
