Texas Cat's favorite station is a good one, they play Garth, Shania, Alan Jackson and other popular artists. I myself listen (locally) to KHYI www.khyi.com - they play more old country and mostly Texas musicians like Robert Earl Keen, Pat Green and more. But my ABSOLUTE favorite station is in Victoria, TX, 98.7FM (I can't pick that up on radio here, but I can on the web). They are at www.texasmix.com - on this station you WILL HEAR "Cowboy Boots and Bathing Suits" (by JJW) as well as "Come Away To Belize With Me" and a lot of what was once called "progressive country" back in the 70's, JJW, Willie Nelson, Pure Prarie League, other Texas musicians and more. See for yourself if you like this kind of music.
