Amanda, how long will the poll be in place? Just curious to know if it will be a perpetual poll, or if you have determined a definitive polling period.

Also since it is a question concerning US politics, are you checking to see if only those registered to vote in the US are voting or since it is about a Belize message board can only those registered to vote in Belize cast a vote?

What's the big deal again? People should be able to discuss anything that isn't horribly offensive and the context is there. US politics can have reasonable effect on Belize, but again - who really cares? If it's not an interesting topic, then people will lose interest. If it is, then that is a testiment to this great forum. BTW - I voted "no" only because I'm sick of trying to sift through stupid one-liners and mud-throwers just to find an interesting point that someone may have raised.

I think the board is no place for US politics..There are so many things we can chat about !!!!It will only amount to sh*t flinging and name calling!!! A no win discussion !!! this board is much better without the bull sh*t!!!! lets chat about living the dream in peace..And positive stuff about life....

"People should be able to discuss anything that isn't horribly offensive and the context is there." - only on this board, this tends to be the exception as often as it is the rule. usually it isn't the subject posted that is offensive, it is the comments that follow that most often are.
