We are headed down on Saturday, staying at Capt. Morgans. Any recommendations for restaurants up north? Is the road drivable (golf cart) after all the rains last week...

You can walk the beach to some of the nicer ones easily and the Island Ferry is practical to the others , resturants help out with alerting you to the schedules and help time your departure. the road is bad even when its not under water.

I like Beach'n Kitchen. Nice atmosphere (though no view) with good food and owned by a very nice lady.

Capricorn is good and right next to Captain Morgans also Rendezvous is close and has a good selection it is higher end but well worth it. Luna is close and delicious also Portofino Restaurant will pick you up at Captain Morgans and take you up to the restaurant and back complimentary. It is worth the ferry ride to Rojo Lounge.
The road is never good from Journeys end further most of the time and it is horrible at this moment. I hope this helps.

I never hear a mention of Rojo's. Are they still open?

Thanks to everyone for all the great suggestions. When you say the road is horrible right now, is it drivable in golf cart from town to Captain Morgans or not? thanks.

It was a few weeks ago when I was there, but there has been a tropical storm since then, so I couldn't tell you.

lol the tropical storm didn't take away any restaurants.

I agree with all sugestions listed. And Capricorn is amazing and the service is outstanding!
