Hello all. I know lobster season is right now. Jesse posted a topic under "About other parts of Belize" regarding donations of new lobster traps. Does anyone have any information on whether Belize will still be adhering to the strict lobster season, in lieu of all the lost lobster traps because of Hurricaine Keith?

Nothing in the news from Belmopan about any change to the closed lobster season. This has to do with the mating and reproductive cycle of lobster and is timed to allow for replenishment of stocks.
