I am thinking about moving down from florida,Will bring my boat and stay on it while visiting,are there any marinas in Ambergris that I could dock at while staying there,I need shore power 30 amp.,and would prefer to have some type of security,the boat has a watermaker so I would not need water just electricity,and at what point would I have to pay duty in the boat? was thinking of staying several months,thanks Doug.

Look into BYC its not owned by Byc ,BEMEL handles it, they have an AD in the local newspaper.Its close to town and they have 24hr security.

captgator, How much water does your boat draw? The water is very shallow in close so keep that in mind.

My boat draws about four feet,would like to have a little cushion on that for tides,
