I have caught 2 great barracudas about 20 pounds each inside the reef trolling, they were cut into steaks seasoned and barbacued on the grill and were delicious.I am told that the cuda in belize tastes totally different than those in the US.
Has anyone heard this before? I had a Belizean woman tell me "remember, do NOT eat barracuda in the months that end in R because, then they are poisonous." She isn't a youngster so their may be a tale to this too.
Considering the amount of alcohol this here scallywag consumed, no "unwelcomed" visitors stood a chance! It was fun to watch the skeeters wobble and drop mid-flight!
