Thank you so much for such a good documentation. I looks like that big wall they built along the street saved a lot of neighbors. I certainly hope they were well insured and clean up and construction can begin soon.
I would like to hear more about the propane tank.

Terrible, just terrible, but thank God no one was hurt.

Thank goodness this did not happen during the high season when it would have been booked solid........very sad. That was the first place we stayed at on our first visit in 2002.

I hope this is a wake up call to the town board, the BTB, the Minister of Tourism and the GOB. The SPFD is understaffed, underfunded and under equipped for the needs of the rapidly growing island. Chief Garcia does a great job with what he has to work with, but he needs help. Unlike The mainland, there is no close help available for large incidents like this. I agree Marty, "gut wrenching".

I'm so glad no one was injured and it didn't spread to other properties. I look forward to having a beer in the new Ramon's, as I am sure they will rebuild and make it as wonderful again.

I hope homeowners and resort owners look at their own properties and mitigate hazards and come up with a plan in case of a fire.
