This was amazing - It looks like he had a long line attached to the camera. GoPro should pay something for this footage.

On a dive at Half Moon Caye the San EEls would pop up when we backed away but dissapear into their holes when we approached. I set my video camera up and backed away - I think every diver in our group took a turn swimming in and 'saving' my camera by retutrning it to me. They meant well!

Talking with other divers on my boat and they were telling me that if an octo grabs your camera or whatever, let them have it. If you struggle for your item you will most likely lose the battle. Eventually the octo will become bored with your inanimate inedible item and you will be able to retrieve it.

That happened to me years ago. So @#%#% frustrating
