Thanks for the nice trip report. I'll make a copy for Jenny, owner of Caliente's. Your report about Elvi's is troubling. I consider Ms Elvia a personal friend, but she is not involved with the operation of the resturant at this time. I'll pass along your report never the less.

Bill, since you are connected, there is a guy at Calientes that served us that was extremely nice and made us feel like we were dining at a fine steak house. Wish I could remember his name. Young, maybe 25 - 27.

Cheers, SB

Stretch that shirt over the back of your recliner or rocker for a few days, it might
stretch to XL.

So glad you enjoyed Ramon's..so many people put it down and my daughter & I loved it in April!!Was it a black & white dog that did the growling?? He protected us from a local that was "hitting on" Amy....he was our night buddy many nights of our week there.Anxious for next spring trip!!

The zombie security guy is named Shugga--(sugar)-he does in fact appear to be Herman Munsters little brother. He has been there forever.
The waiter you are referrring to at Caliente's (next the The Pier Lounge-Home of The World Famous Chicken Drop)is Dennis and he is exceptional.
Sorry for the shameless plug.
Jim

C'mon..... Sugar!??? Voodoo Man does not fit his name. Glad he was there though. We just didn't have a handle on that guy Piasano and were heading down a bad path quickly. The funny thing is I think I snapped a photo of Sugar, aka Voodo Man. Will look for it. He probably doesn't want me to blow his cover though.

Oldmom - if the black and white dog was very short haired and did more laying around than any of the other dogs, that's him and he is doing great.

Pier Lounge - Thanks again for the great meal and friendly service from Dennis at Calientes. Tell him that the guy who was talking boxing with him a couple of weeks ago say's, howdy from Georgia.
