Daily Tropical Weather Outlook: THe 2016 hurricane season ended Nov. 30. Tropical cyclone formation is not expected anytime soon. Weekend Forecast by Ramon Frutos: Thursday May 4, 2017: This is the time of the year we are all wondering when will the rains start and this heat abates. Most will say Climate Change..., but we've had hotter April-May before. Let's wait and see. Seasonally hot, dry weather continued across the country today, under the influence of a light to moderate east to southeasterly airflow. An active cold front is moving across the central Gulf of Mexico. Pre-frontal convection extended in a narrow line from around Tampa Florida to near Merida, Mexico this afternoon. This late season cold front will reach Belize on Friday evening, inducing outbreaks of showers and thunderstorms starting in the early afternoon on Friday. Rainfall associated with the thundery weather will range from half-an-inch to over 1 inch in places of the western interior and the south on Friday night through Saturday. Higher rainfall could also induce rapid run off and localized flash floods in some hilly areas. Showers and thunderstorms will decrease on Sunday through Monday. Click here for the full report. The weather has settled down, the cold frond dispersing, our temperatures will gradually get warmer over the next day or two. The high level winds are from the west, presently no sign of the Caribbean wind, but i expect it will pick up later this morning, with white clouds developing.

Looks like today is going to be mainly sunny with some white clouds later, could be the odd shower.
