I am looking to have several window replaces on my house. The ones I currently have are dependent on springs on the side frame to raise and lower the windows and do not work very well and it is hell to remove the windows to clean. I am thinking of going to a solid upper and side slide lower windows. I have a quote from a local vendor who makes the windows here on the island but I am worried about the quality and the fact that they use only single pane glass. Looking for recommendation from anyone who is happy with the quality and price of their purchase and installation. Thanks.
