Belize Water Services Public Notice: Pay Electronically

Now that our country has confirmed cases of Covid-19, Belize Water Services is adhering to the guidelines set by the Government of Belize and the Ministry of Health. To comply with the State of Emergency declared for San Pedro, our office in San Pedro will be closed until clearance is given.

Please note that all other offices country-wide remain open. However, given the COVID-19 prevention guidelines, BWS encourages customers to utilize telephone and electronic means of contact to conduct business and to utilize online banking to make payments.

Customers can contact BWS via:

Online Bill:
� Please send your email address to [email protected] so that we can send your bill online.
Online Payment:
� Customers are encouraged to utilize their commercial bank to make online payment to BWS. Please contact your bank for setting up the online payment option.
� Customers with Visa or Mastercard credit cards (regardless of issuing bank), can visit Atlantic Bank's homepage (www.atlabank.com) and use the Bill Pay with credit card option. You will need to have your BWS account number and meter number on hand. Note that this option will show you the outstanding balance and due date.
If you must visit a BWS office, please note that:
� Due to the social distancing restrictions, BWS will limit the number of customers at our office.
� Anyone displaying any flu-like symptoms are asked not to visit any BWS office and use the above methods of doing business.

Changes to Opening Hours

All BWS offices closed until further notice. All BWS offices will be closed to the public as a precautionary measure to ensure safety of our customers and staff.

Effective April 17, 2020 all offices will be opened for customers to utilize cashier services.

BWS COVID-19 Assistance to Customers

BWS Suspension of Printed Bill delivery

Belize Water Services advises customers that the delivery of printed bills is suspended until further notice.
You can now receive your water bill either by SMS (text), WhatsApp, or Email.
We encourage you to update the contact information on your account to receive your monthly bill.

You can sign up for e-billing by sending us your account number and mobile number for text or WhatsApp or an email address. We are available on Facebook & WhatsApp and can also be reached by either of our toll-free numbers or email.

BWS is now processing the COVID-19 Relief for the April Bills. This Relief will be shown on your next bill as a CREDIT (PAYMENT).

BWS Payment plans

BWS advises customers that payment plans are now available for those who have been displaced by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Proof of unemployment due to COVID-19 must be presented!

BWS Customer services now available country-wide with the exception of Caye Caulker.

BWS announces extended opening hours to accommodate our valued customers.

BWS will be open on Saturdays starting June 13, 2020

Belize Water Services Limiting Visitations

Belize Water Services places the utmost importance on the health and safety of our customers and staff Due to the further increase in cases of Covid-19, effective Monday, August 17 2020, our Customer Service Representatives countrywide will be available via our whatsapp and toll-free numbers or email provided below. BWS reminds customers to use the online payment options. However, our cashier sections will remain open and customers can also utilize the drop-box outside of each office for quick drop-of payments.. If it is necessary to visit any of our offices for payment options only, you must wash and sanitize hands prior to entry; a mask must be worn properly and social distance will be enforced Let's help stop the spread of Covid- 19.

Customers are encouraged to access our services remotely via telephone, WhatsApp messages, email or social media requests.

Our cashier services continue to be available country-wide; however, we encourage customers to utilize the online banking portals to make payments and to avoid long lines. This will help in mitigating COVID-19 risks.

BWS advises customers that our Communications System will undergo a shutdown on Sunday, October 30, 2022 from 2:00PM to 5:00PM to complete our yearly electrical upgrade. During this time, our land-lines and email system will be down.
