The Caye Caulker Village Council would like to inform the Caye Caulker Community that today, Tuesday, and Wednesday they will be a Court Session at the Caye Caulker Village Council office at 9:00 a.m. The Immigration Department will also be here issuing stamps as of 9:00 a.m. tomorrow morning.

For the court session, numbers will be issued out and everyone present must wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Thank you

IMMIGRATION STAMP UPDATE:
Ok. I just got off the phone with Belmopan and the Supervisor from San Pedro Immigration Office. She us coming tomorrow, with another Officer, to the Community Center to issue stamps. She us VERY understanding of our unique situation here on the Caye, and that some people may have bought food with their money instead of saving it for all their stamps due. She would like you to at LEAST get up to date as much as possible, before the new fees go into effect May 1, which unfortunately, are beyond her control. She will stay on the Caye, with her Officer, for as long as it takes to get everyone stamped. PLEASE go to Community Center starting at 9am. They will stamp the elderly FIRST. You can get 3 month stamps, BUT, that includes the back stamps due, plus remember as of May 1, the monthly stamp will cost $200bz per month.

TUESDAY - 5:30PM - IMMIGRATION STAMP UPDATE:

We had a VERY successful day today with over 100 people receiving 3 month stamps. The Immigration Officers were required to return to San Pedro at 5pm today, because Belize Treasury Department does not allow them to stay overnight with the amount of cash payments they received today.

THEY WILL BE BACK THIS THURSDAY to stamp anyone who did not get stamped today. You will receive 3 month stamps at the old monthly rates. Please bring EXACT Belizean cash and your passport. Be at the Community Center at 9am. THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE to get stamped, if you were on my list.

THANK YOU to all of you who waited so patiently today. WE DID THIS!! Be proud of yourselves!! A BIG THANK YOU to the Director of Immigration's Office, AND our two awesome Immigration Officers from San Pedro, who worked so tirelessly today to facilitate and help us!!
