If things had gone as planned - (and in the COVID world they never do) - Belize would already be into a strange sort of tourist season. The airport was to have opened on August 15th - but that's just when COVID cases started spiking like crazy.

So, there was no joy for tourism interest in August - and the question now is when will the airport open up for tourists? On Friday, in his press conference, the Prime Minister said it's still a known unknown:

"Delta wanted to come on September 3rd and United was prepared also to come on that date. American had said not until October. We've not yet sent any official word to Delta or United to say that September 3rd is not on, and I don't want to do so by way of a press conference, so all I will do is to concede that while September 3rd remains officially the target date, it's not looking particular likely."

Just checked my Nov trip on Delta they have canceled the flight on Nov 1st from ATL to BZE 68 days from now.

does anyone know if there is some timeline for allowing property owners outside Belize entry doing whatever is required(Covid Test)?

Yes go to the BTB website - all the info is there including the application form to fill in and requirements so that homeowners can visit to check on their properties (subject to SEO's etc.)
