I have read in previous post that you can purchase Cuban cigars at either the airport or downtown AC. Which has better prices? I would be purchasing at least one box if not more. If downtown, where?

Thanks,
Scott

I'm wondering, can you bring those back into the US? Or is there an embargo? I wanted to buy them as a gift for my brother-in-law, but assumed they were banned from the US.

They are illegal, and will be confiscated if detected at customs.

That's why the good ones come in little metal suppository shaped tubes.

A lot of the Cuban restrictions have been lifted recently. You might check (with who, I'm not sure) before you go.

I would take the bands off the cigars & put them in a totaly different place than where the cigars are located - And hide both

The labels are worth as much as the cigars in the states.

Dont believe everything you read! A lot of Cubans are not... Cuban. Do your research to be as sure as you can. ie: seeing "hecho a mano en Habana" is not equal to a certificate of authenticity.(cigaraficionado.com is very helpful)

Uh huh. Yep. That was me.
