I have the average for airfare in October/November to be around $500-600, per person. Has anyone seen a better price?

Where are you coming from? American has been running a sale for midweek travel through mid Dec. Check their website. Or email me for a quote www.barbsbelize.com

I am going next week and got an air fare out of DC for $309.00 RT. (Plus $50.00 taxes). A steal through USAIR.

It's the ITA software but now it does international flight searches. If you don't want to register just sign in as a member.

I used Travelocity and found a $364.00 flight from DC on American in early Sept.

Also try flying out on a Monday or Tuesday instead of a Saturday.

P.S Anybody else out there know of a good seach engine?? There used to be a search engine software that you could download but now I can no longer find it.

most all the sites are there to help having to remember all the different .com's

Just keep checking & Sign up for there efare specials thats how I got the low fare last Mar.

Thanks for all of your suggestions! Because I'm a teacher, I'm locked into school vacations and can't leave before Dec.23rd nor return after Jan. 4th. I'll try the engines mentioned (some are new to me) to see if I have better luck. I know that sometimes just waiting brings lower fares but sometimes only higher ones.
