Is anyone going to be in AC the first week of October? Has anyone been there in October? Have you seen the word October enough yet? Also, just a thought, on a previous trip to Canada we found that cigars worked quite well at keeping the bugs away. Works pretty good on Mrs. as well

We will be there the week of Oct. 11 - Oct. 18. This will be the first time for us, so I can't tell you anything about AC in October, but I have heard it is still very nice at that time.

I have been there in Oct and it was very nice - a few showers coming & going daily. It is the height of hurricane season though so I recommend purchasing travel insurance. Not to be a downer but something you need to know, IMHO

Been there in November last year. 2 of the 4 days we had mid afternoon thunder showers of about an hours total disruption max and seas were very choppy when a storm was in the area. Temperatures were what I would call moderate, (low 80s) But I am compaing against temps in South Carolina. The mornings were usually much calmer and clearer, on those particular days. However, these events area fairly isolated in are and duration, so don't be concerned about them blowing
