Belize Audubon Society photo exhibit
at the Embassy of Mexico

The photo exhibition “Shutter Speed” by the Belize Audubon Society (BAS) was inaugurated on 4 February 2009 at 7:00 pm at the Institute of Mexico in Belize. Cutting the ribbon for this event was the Vice President of the BAS, Mike Huesner, the Ambassador of Cuba to Belize, Manuel Javier Diaz-Rubido, and the Ambassador of Mexico to Belize, Luis Manuel Lopez-Moreno.
The exhibition is part of the program of BAS to commemorate its 40th anniversary. It highlights environmental conservation carried out by the society. Among its activities, BAS manages nine of the protected natural areas in Belize. The photographs include landscapes of such protected areas as well as the BAS community work.
