Log Cab-Inn is a family owned and operated facility for that personal touch that makes all the difference. We are a family who has lived in the Cayo area for three generations. Conveniently located one mile from San Ignacio Town providing easy access to most points of interest. Cahal Pech is only a fifteen minute walk from your cabin, Xunantunich Mayan ruin is just ten miles away from us. Our welcome center, nestled on a hillside overlooking the gardens and cottages below, is ideal for simply relaxing having a cool drink or taking an evening meal. Delicious family style meals include tropical desserts, fresh fruits, and vegetables.

These men are available for most of every day for tours and sightseeing, as they are careful drivers, and most of them are also licensed tour guides who own their own taxis and vans.

Each operates independently, but they enjoyed it when I would get them a pizza occasionally. They would collaborate on what kind of pizza they wanted, and then one of them would go and buy it.

The older gentleman in the foreground, who is a vendor and stays all day long with the group outside the hotel, is examining a bird he has carved for sale to the tourists who wander over from the hotel, or who walk the two blocks up from the Cruiseship Terminal. He also sells jewelry made by others.
