Frangipani hawk moth larvae
Have seen them on the Antelope trail at Mayflower National park and at Jaguar Outpost this week.
They might eat every leaf and flower but the next year the plant rebounds with twice the growth. But yeah they can freak you out devouring the leaves. We alos noticed they havent been back for now 4 yrs since they ate everything of the frangipani, so we came to conclusion they probably rotate harvest to different locations each year.
Don't eradicate, you can simply pluck them from the tree if it comes to that.
