Rainbows, toucan, and Santa! Season Greetings from Corozal!
Lincoln Eiley: Christmas at our house is always at least six or seven times more pleasant than anywhere else. We start drinking early. And while everyone else is seeing only one Santa Claus, we’ll be seeing six or seven.
THE OLD FASHIONED CHRISTMAS IN SAN PEDRO
Angel Nunez:
In the 1950's Xmas meant a branch from a pine tree decorated with baloons. Children happily showed off their plastic dolls and water guns. Mom baked a salted ham in a sack and Dad brought his 5 best friends to party at home. Ladies had sewn their new dresses for the Christmas Mass and Dance. There had to be light cake and grapes and apples at the table or else it would be incomplete. Groups of pop-up musical bands played Christmas songs until the accordion became a pillow marking the end of the celebration. Fun Fun Fun!
