The Hut was run by Shelley Prevett now Shelley Huber, from the Arceo family. She was a great cook and it was a great restaurant. She still is one of the best chefs in Belize. She still does some great food from her catering kitchen at her home.
Mary Hawthorne: It was a great restaurant, right across the street from the primary school. Seaduced office (purple building) is there now. I think this was 1982, my first trip to Belize. We stayed at the Aqua Lodge which is where Canuck's is/was. It changed names so many times Ramon's 2, La Joya del Caribe, Exotic Caye were a few of them.
