The San Pedro Sun is again hosting its annual Valentine’s Day Poetry contest. Submit your poems and be eligible to win one of the many fabulous prizes. Categories for this year’s competition include, Foreign (entries received from outside of Belize’s boundaries), the Grand Prize winner (come on, this encompasses it all!), Funniest, Most Romantic and there will also be two Honorable Mentions. Six chances to win!
This year The San Pedro Sun is spicing things up and joining with the forces at Blue Lotus to bring you a night of romance. Join us at Blue Lotus for a scrumptious dinner buffet consisting of Fish Cakes, Pakoras, Butter Chicken, Keema{ Minced Beef Curry}, Goan Fish Curry, Alu Ghobi (vegetables), Shrimp Biryani (special shrimp Basmati Rice), Naan, Salad, Chutney, Cake and of course a glass of wine. Throughout the night, poems will be read at the restaurant while it is broadcasted over the Reef Radio’s airwaves and diners will have the opportunity, at the end of the night, to vote for their favorite poems. However, Blue Lotus will also have lucky draws during the night. For a night of adventure, great dining, romantic ambience and loads of fun, join us on Valentine’s Night. Entries for the poetry contest should be submitted no later than 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 14th, 2008. Please FAX to (226) 2905, email to [email protected] or drop them off at our Barrier Reef office located across from the Holiday Hotel. There is no limit on how many entries you can submit. Prizes include:
