As promised by the San Pedro Dance Company their Christmas recital was a "must see" event. The starlit evening played the perfect host to the hundreds of spectators that were present to witness what would be one of San Pedro's finest shows of the year. The San Pedro Dance Company under the able guidance of Ms. Rosita Balthazar introduced their finest during the evening. Elaborate costumes complemented the fifty plus dancers' performances. Again, the younger dancers stole the show as they shared their charm and grace on stage to the fine tune of "Ballerina Girls." There were some special presentations as students of Rosita's dance group from Belize City made their appearance. The dances were matched by the wonderful talent of the students of Lydia's Institute of Fine Education (LIFE) as they re-enacted the birth of Jesus Christ.

The choreography on stage was highlighted by the wide variety of lights that were generously provided by the Belize Dance Company as part of the show. The whole evening was full of pleasant surprises. The final performance included a special presentation by Señor Santa Claus himself with the dancers.
