As I skim threw this thread no one mentioned cash . When a hurricane is on its way , GET CASH , bank lines get really long . It could take half a day or longer in line at a bank , you can use that valuable time for evacuating or boarding up .
"Cash is also King" , Don't take it personal ,people that took credit cards or credit prior may pass and only take cash . We all have friends and families , which will need that cash to evacuate and get food for themselves. Dont forget to stock up on pet food , rotate to keep fresh . Getting alcohol is a must ,if you don't need a little for the nerves , it works great later for trading for food or something you forgot to get or thought was not important at time .
