We will be traveling to Belize for the first time in March and are thinking of staying on Caye Caulker. One of my co-workers went last year without any reservations and had a great time staying wherever he landed, but he went during the slow season. Should we book something in advance or just go with the flow?

You need to book in advance, Most places are already booked for that time. Even the low end back packers Hostels tend to be full then. Perhaps you should post the dates you will be here and let those that still have vacancy contact you. It would save you alot of online time.You could also get some reveiws and opinions on your choice.
