I would like to know the best way to pay my property taxes for 2009. What paperwork, type of payment etc. Unfortunatly I am unable to be there to pay in person. thanks alot.

We alway have ours paid through the attorney that handles the purchase for us...they handle the paperwork and make the payment, we pay them a nominal fee. It's much sompler than trying to figure it out and physically have to be there (although I wish I was!)

Are you paying taxes on caye Caulker??? What type of property?? We have 1/4 acre with 2 units and pay about $100 US a year...would be silly to pay a fee for such low taxes...you can pay 2 ..3 years in adavnce..but not sure what your situation is....seems some of these posters are from San Pedro which is a very different world.

For everybody's information, I use belizegial to do many functions for me, being an owner of property there and a non-resident, and she is the most prompt and efficient person you could hope for. I highly recommend her.
