From Belmopan...
Light rain most of the night, mainly at sea and much of central Belize and some other areas, due to the easterly Caribbean winds, and high level cloud from the WNW, there is even some cloud coming down from the north over Belize. The tropical storm Hurricane Otto is approaching Nicaragua/Costa Rica border line now, as a hurricane, Cat.2 Its high level outpouring is reaching right up and round to central and eastern Cuba, the associated ITCZ type swell-ups causing rain, are to the east, west and south of Jamaica and could get to Belize in a couple of days, if the storm remains this active.
The overnight rain is reducing, today looks as if it will be mainly cloudy with some more patches of rain.
