General Situation:
Ambergris Caye: Conditions this morning by Elbert just before or after this post!
Belize NMS: Mainly fair conditions expected over the area.
Advisories: None. *Latest satellite imagery show that a few Sargassum mats are offshore Belize and are drifting in a general westward direction. These mats are expected to impact some coastal communities during the coming days. *SMALL CRAFT CAUTION LIKELY TO GO INTO EFFECT*

The Caribbean Sea

Fresh trades cover much of the central Caribbean, with strong trades in the south-central Caribbean S of 14N. Moderate to locally fresh trades are in the E Caribbean E of 67W, and moderate trades are over much of the NW Caribbean, except for fresh over the Gulf of Honduras. Mainly fair weather is in progress over the basin, aside from isolated showers near Puerto Rico, Trinidad and the ABC Islands.

High pressure N of the area will support fresh to strong trades over much of the central Caribbean through Sat night, with gale force winds expected near the coast of Colombia tonight. Fresh to strong winds are also expected over the Gulf of Honduras and Belize adjacent waters tonight and Thu night. Otherwise, moderate to fresh trades will continue across the remainder of the area.

OP Marty	There is some chunky lines of cloud in the Caribbean, some already across the land. Caused 3.2mm of rain over Belmopan earlier in the morning, and small rain showers in many other parts of Belize, not much rain around now. Looks as if today will be mainly sunny and with significant white clouds, some may produce the odd rain shower. Temperatures in Belmopan : ( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler ) Last night min. 22°C 71°F Yesterday max. 30°C 86°F Yesterday Rain 0.8 mm ( 0.03" )

OP Marty	Tomorrows WEATHER for - Thu 14 Mar 2019 Significant cloud out in the Caribbean this evening, some of it coming up from the south, over Honduras. Not clear how this will turn out tomorrow, Thursday morning, I expect significant morning cloud, but no indication it will cause rain as yet.
