General Situation:
Ambergris Caye: Conditions this morning by Elbert just before or after this post!
Belize NMS: Present Condition: Mostly clear. Mainly fair, warm and mostly dry conditions to prevail today with a slight increase in moisture expected during the course of tomorrow.
Advisories: *A small craft caution remains in effect for occasionally gusty winds and locally rough seas.*
24-hour forecast: Generally fair with little or no rainfall today. Then isolated showers developing mainly along the coast tonight.

The Caribbean Sea

There is a Gale Warning currently in effect for the south-central Caribbean.

Fresh to strong E to SE trade winds cover much of the basin, except moderate to fresh winds N of 18N to the west of the approach to the Windward Passage. Strong mid to upper-level subsidence over the basin will suppress strong convection across the basin for the next couple of days.

Strong high pressure ridging north of the area will maintain strong trades across the central Caribbean through the forecast period, except for gale force winds pulsing each night off the Colombian coast. Fresh to strong trades will continue over the Windward Passage through Fri. Fresh trades over the tropical Atlantic waters will diminish to mainly moderate speeds Sat.

OP Marty	Steady SE Caribbean winds, with just a few clouds, none near Belize, but clouds are now starting to build on land as the sea breeze moves on to the land. Looks like today will be mainly sunny, some cloud developing during the morning, no rain expected Temperatures in Belmopan : ( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler ) Last night min. 22°C 72°F Yesterday max. 30°C 86°F Yesterday Rain 0 mm ( 0.0" )
