A story has emerged on Caye Caulker where an American woman was discovered hanging by a rope at about 6:30am Monday morning by her taxi driver, as she was to check out and head back to the main land.

Investigation is being treated as a suicide, since no physical injuries were found on the body. Police are further investigating.
