Notice the shingles on the walls of that house. - - and the Bricks that anchor the house to its foundation.
Shingles were used to protect the wooden sidings of buildings against the Tropic heat. - - Belize had many such buildings, among them the homes of the Rich and prominent - At corner of Regent and South Streets is one such house The Eusey's family home and many others. The living quarters of slaves were made of BRICKS, such as that house on Regent Street, next to the SJC Extention Building, where Channel 5 had their Studio.
