Ah, spots. There are different types of do-gooders. There are those who actually do good, whether they get press or not. these are people to be admired. Then there are those who do feel-good, things that make them feel good about themselves, but who don't really improve things. these are not people to be admired. Just my opinion, of course. They are who they are, whether liberal or conservative.

Has anyone asked why the poor neighbor has no cow? Did someone steal his cow? Did he have a cow, and sold it to buy beer? Maybe the fact that he has no cow has nothing to do with conservatives refusing to give him a cow, or liberals complaining that conservatives won't give him a cow. Maybe he has made bad choices, or has a poor work ethic. It is lamentable that he has no cow, but it ain't my fault :p
