On Ambergris Caye this morning the wind is from the North at 8 mph and it lays flat the sea around the reef. our expected high is 86 and it looks as if the rain has passed us.

There is some rain about, but not much, as the cool air from the north has pushed much further south now, the NW air from the gulf now has less cloud, so we are in a dryer condition at present. That Hurricane NICOLE has considerably strengthened and going away from Haiti, moving north and threatening Bermuda. No other significant activity in the Atlantic.

Looks like today will be largely sunny as the early cloud clears, then white clouds build, probably no rain.
