WHAT GUESTS WERE CATCHING:

BONEFISH (Macabi): A couple of days this week we experienced northeast winds when the fishery emptied a bit and created some tough fishing conditions. Everyone was able to land bonefish, but the tarpon and permit proved to be more difficult. Susan, Jake and Sara all managed to land their "first ever" bonefish and have vowed to come back and do it again.

PERMIT (Palometta): Permit, although tough this week, were still around and Chuck managed a Grand Slam during his stay. Vicky also caught a nice permit, so we think that her husband Tim will now be able to return again soon. Congratulations Tim!

TARPON (Sabalo): The tarpon bite was on this week in spite of the adverse weather conditions at times. Twelve tarpon landed and several others jumped. The lagoon tarpon are always around so if you need the drug of the tarpon tug, let Isa or Mariano take you to their tarpon hole and experience the fun.

OTHER SPECIES: Triggerfish, barracuda, snapper, jacks and Mayan Cichlid.

GRAND SLAM: Congratulations to Chuck on his Grand Slam.
