WHAT GUESTS WERE CATCHING:

BONEFISH (Macabi): We just finished with our Orvis Bonefish Bonanza, and it was a blast. The fishing was excellent as all of the participants landed bonefish. The weather was phenomenal as well and also helped to produce a great week. Come and join us for one of the Orvis Bonanza'syou won't be disappointed.

PERMIT (Palometta): The permit continue to be around in large numbers with many of our anglers landing nice fish. David, while fishing with Captain Kristian, made it a Grand Slam after landing his permit. He even had time to come back to the lodge and have lunch! Remember the early bird gets the worm, and David went out on that day at four in the morning to get it done by noon. Nice job David!

TARPON (Sabalo): The Tarpon bite continues to be good, anglers are catching plenty. From the juvenile to the monsters everything is eating. Andrew got a sixty pounder, and so did Clyde. JP and Jim also managed to land a great fish. Another large Tarpon was jumped but spit the hook before it got to the boat. "No worriesthe next time it will be different."

OTHER SPECIES: Snook, snapper, jacks, and barracuda.

GRAND SLAM: Congratulations to David Page on his GRAND SLAM.
