Weather Conditions: Cloudy-Partly Cloudy, Hazy.

Winds: East, 15-25 mph.

Air Temperature: High and low in the low 80's.

Sunrise: 5:17 am Sunset: 6:19 pm

Moonphase: Full.

WHAT GUESTS WERE CATCHING:

BONEFISH (Macabi): The lee side of the cayes provided the opportunity to sight cast to some large bonefish.

PERMIT (Palometta): Permit fishing was good this week.

TARPON (Sabalo): Several nice Tarpon were landed.

OTHER SPECIES: Snapper, jacks, and barracuda.

FLIES THAT WORKED

FOR BONEFISH - Christmas Island Specials in orange, pearl and pink sizes 6 & 8.

FOR PERMIT - Spawning Shrimp, Tan Crabs in size 6 & 8.

FOR TARPON - White Tarpon Toads.

This Week's Summary:

Windy weather continued, but guides and anglers made the best of their opportunities. Several nice permit were landed, and Phil and Gilbert hooked 14 tarpon in one-day fishing with Capt. Gordy.
