WHAT GUESTS WERE CATCHING:

BONEFISH (Macabi): Bonefish is our middle name and we are proud to wear it! It would be much easier to just list the folks that didn't catch a bonefish, but the truth is the fishing was pretty tough due to a pretty gusty northeast wind. None the less bonefish were caught every day on every boat that tried. Congratulations to new members of the bonefish club and the veterans that have landed hundreds. Daniel, Craig, Carol, Michael (from the UK) John and Kelly, Alan and Nancy, Rich and Marye, Robin and Buzz, Leo, Dennis, Barry, Miles, Gary, Sulu, Mary Kay all enjoyed the diving, snorkeling and bonefishing.

PERMIT (Palometta): Our sole permit master this week was Josh who was fishing with his lovely bride of 5 years, Kelly. A great feat considering the weather was so poor.

TARPON (Sabalo): Gary started out the week strong with a nice tarpon on his second day out. Leo landed his first real tarpon. I say real only because that is what Leo said - his only other tarpon was about 12 inches long and after he landed this 35 pounder he realized the first one really didn't count! It impressed his new bride of just a few days , Amy, with a tarpon on their last of 3 days

OTHER SPECIES: Jacks, Barracudas, Snappers

Grand Slam: Not this week.

FLIES THAT WORKED

FOR BONEFISH - Christmas Island Special, Crazy Charlie tan , Crazy Charlie pink

FOR PERMIT - Peterson shrimp

FOR TARPON - Black death, Purple bunny, Peanut butter

This Week's Summary:

A fairly quiet week with just a few boats going out daily. Lots of great couples this week including some honeymooners - Tim and Amy and John and Megan celebrated some great times here at EL Pescador. We are so happy to have been a part of their celebrations.
