WHAT GUESTS WERE CATCHING:

BONEFISH (Macabi): A nice week to host the Orvis Bonefish Bonanza and the Orvis fly fishing school. Everyone had fun catching numerous bonefish with some anglers catching as many as fifty bonefish for the week. Lots of great memories created with many happy anglers.

PERMIT (Palometta): Most everyone saw permit this week and some of the lucky ones managed to land one. Our friends Mike and Cindy, Louis, Isaac and Steven fooled some really nice size permit into eating their fly and bait. It's always a wild ride when the Permit make the decision to turn and eat.

TARPON (Sabalo): More tarpon seen this week than in the weeks past, with lots of interest. Some of the anglers were casting to tarpon for most of their fishing day with school after school coming by. Steven landed the largest of the week which was over one hundred pounds on his way to a grand slam.

OTHER SPECIES: Snapper, Ladyfish, Squirrel fish, Barracuda, Snook, Jacks and a lot of rays (sun rays that is) as the non-anglers enjoyed their days by the pool.

GRAND SLAM: Congratulations to Steven on his Grand Slam!

FLIES THAT WORKED
