WHAT GUESTS WERE CATCHING:

BONEFISH (Macabi): The bonefish continue to impress anglers with their strength and speed. Bonefish are the seventh fastest fish in the sea and can reach speeds of up to forty-two miles per hour. Once an angler experiences the tug of a bonefish, they will quickly realize that for its size there is nothing stronger in the sea. Come and experience it yourself - Belize is waiting!

PERMIT (Palometta): Lots of permit have been caught and released this week as the beautiful weather continues. We have had three Grand Slams and one Super Slam in the last five days. Roger while fishing with Captain Cesar was the first angler in 2018 to achieve a Super Slam. Quite the accomplishment!

TARPON (Sabalo): The tarpon are still favoring the white bunnies and toads. This week eight tarpon were landed. The weather has been cooperating for the tarpon bite. Wind direction is keeping plenty of water on the flats and allowing all species to feed well. The juvenile tarpon bite has also been active in the back lagoon. Interested? Let Isa or Mariano know while you're here. They can take you to the back lagoon to explore the diversity of that ecosystem.

OTHER SPECIES: Ladyfish, puffer, barracuda, needlefish, snapper, Mutton snapper, and jacks.

GRAND SLAM: Congratulations to Louis and Steve on their Grand Slams.
